During this time, I was able to do some stuff in the computer just like the officer

said. As far as I remember, it was all about editing some taken pictures in all
activities that the PNP officers does in the service of the community. It was just a
simple yet manageable job, that why I made it right. I am so thankful to the officer
who really managed my work to make it so manageable and to do work in a less
pressure.
This was our first day of work immersion. During this day, we are able to attend a
program. The program was held to the Kahulugan Covered court and the program
was all about 2nd round peace and order forum of the city peace and order
committee chairman. SKL, this was the day where we were so tired and hungry at
same time because the program was started at the morning and it end in the
afternoon, so our appetite really squishing. But during this day we were just about
half day because the officers really noticed how tired and exhausted, we were.
I just also want to share how we got to the place where the program was held.
During our departure from the PNP Station, we arrived to the court with the used
of vehicle of the PNP. We have a companion and they are also a work immersion
student from Odiongan.

REFLECTION

Our work immersion gave me valuable learnings that I probably wouldn’t have
learned just by studying. It gave me a taste of what the outside world really has to
offer. It is a privilege to have a work experience in PNP department in which I gain
knowledge, insights, idea and background for my dream profession. This
experience helps me on how to be responsible, a better person and a successful
professional someday.
My (6) six days experience at the Philippine national police helped me realize the
importance of the work of our police officers. From this, I learned how to be
respectful, diligent and hardworking. I really learned a lot of this work immersion
especially on the first day where I were so busy because during that time there
was a program, and the program was all about the 2nd round peace and order
forum of the city and barangay peace and order committee chairman and was
headed by sir Orcullo. Officers told us to be there as we represents the youth and
sk. That was a tough and exhausting day. Though I were so felt tired and drained,
I am still thankful because I learned a lot about the program. I am so thankful to
all of the police officers who really manage me and my companion. Graduating
from college doesn’t stop us from learning but what we learn should then be
applied in real life. It is also important to practice it until we become proficient at
it. It made me appreciate the teachings I am learning ta school and I hope I will be
able to use it them wisely in the future. In my short time as a work immersion
student, I’m thankful that I got to experience all of this. I enjoyed the real-life
experiences although I have a hard time doing some of it.
It helps me understand more of what is going on in the workplace and learn how
to work with other people. It gave me a bigger picture of what I want to be in the
future and the things I want to improve about myself. I will try to apply more of
the learnings from our work immersion as I go through with my life.
CONFIDENTIALITY IN THE WORKPLACE

Maintaining confidentiality in the work place is of utmost importance for modern

organization, today to ensure that their customers, clients, and employees can
trust them. You will see how organizations today can keep up their confidentiality
standards. In the PNP station, before we start our day, the officers told us to be in
confidential, they said “What you find and what you hear in the station, should be
left in the station”.

THE WORKER

Work Immersion is on your way. Are you prepared to work? Do have the potentials,
characters, talents, and skills to take up vigor of being a worker. What should you
possess to become a good worker? How will you prepare to work immersion?

Work immersion is part of student life especially when you are in 12th grade in
Senior High School. This subject is not just a subject or to receive grades but for us
to learn and prepared for our future work and job. But for me this experience tells
and show how kind of employee I am in the future. And now I must improve my
patience and dedication in my work. Having characters, talents and skills in worker
doesn’t define you that you don’t have potentials and ability to work better. That
characteristics is not easy to achieve, instead you can have it by patience and
practice consistently. But for me, I don’t have that kind of characteristics, talents
and skills but I have my patience and hardworking to be a good and best asset
among my colleagues. But as immersion student I should possess the good ethics
and potentials skills that I can show off and a good asset to my company in order
me stay as I can. I know myself; I know what thing I should foster and things that I
should continue. So, I should be a punctual. I should possess those characteristics
because that is the basic of being of being conscientious. Another vivacious in work,
because being active or snappy is showing a good spirit and dedicated to work.
Most of my inadequateness is the basic needs mostly in work. But beside of being
lack in different things I have my skills also that I can showcase and to amaze
others unexpectedly. I don’t need to be a virtuoso; I can be a good immersion
student by my own good way. I don’t need to copy someone to become. Be a good
worker in your own good and mannered way.

WEEK 1

Work immersion is helpful for us, students. Through work immersion we are able to
experience the precise doing in the workplace. It also provides opportunities to go
through the actual methodologies of a specific job using real tools, equipment, and
documents.

Day1, Thursday, march 16 is my first immersion. I felt so nervous to commit

mistakes because I was a newbie and I am afraid mostly when I having a with the
PNP officers. On the first day of my immersion, they told us to be confidential, what
hear and what we see should be left in the station.
The first thing we did is to clean the station and then we went to Kahulugan
covered court for the program. When we arrived at the said place, they told us to
be in the front seat as we lead the sanggunian ng kabataan. The program started
at around 9 am and ended at around 1 pm. We were not able to take our lunch but
yes, we’re glad to that program because we are able to gain knowledge. After the
program, we departed and arrived back to the station and then hey gladly
announced that we would be in half day. So, we arrived back to our separate
houses. This was a very tough day but at the same time, it gives me fresh ideas and
opportunity to speak my minds freely without fear to improve something.
On the second day of my work immersion, I felt so relaxed unlike the first day.
We’re just cleaned the station and then we just standby waiting for the command
from the officers. On the afternoon, we are able to coked benignet. On the second
day was not tough, in fact I felt some boredom because I do nothing except for
cleaning and cooking.
WEEK 2

When you immerse yourself into something, you should feel the moment and focus
on what you’re doing so that you can produce a good outcome.
The second week of my work immersion was just relaxed, I was just cleaned all over
the day. Except for the first day in second week in my work immersion, I were
excused because I have important matter to do and after I just go back immediately
into the station. On the second day, I do some simple stuff in the computer at the
PCR room and it was all about editing. This week was so boredom I were just
cleaning all day and then do nothing.
This week is not tough and it was boredom. I hope that next week, I will learn more
important thing than just cleaning.
WEEK 3

Work immersion is not all the skill you must gain, it is also about how respect plays
big role in once profession.
On the fifth day of my work immersion, was just relaxed. I was just relaxed and
really did nothing except for cleaning. In morning and in afternoon, I was just
cleaned the PCR room and do nothing.
On the last day of my work immersion, we are able to gave some foods to sir
Orcullo and after that, we worked our DTR. After leaving the station, we are able to
cleaned the station for the last time.
This work immersion is so meaningful to me. Though, we’re just there in a short
period of time, we really enjoyed and thankful for the skills and knowledge that we
gain throughout the immersion.
