DEDICATION
I wholeheartedly dedicate this portfolio to my family and friends who actively

encourage me. To our teacher - in charge, Sir Alexander M. Gallego Jr.

To all grade 12 teachers supporting our Work Immersion and who give new knowledge

during our Work Immersion Orientation.

To our ever active principal, Dr. Isradean Sinsuat Datukan and to our school, Cotabato

City National High School – Rojas Site. To my friends, and co-trainees and above all,

I sincerely dedicate this accomplishment of mine to our Almighty Allah.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I thank my God (Allah s.w.t) for providing me with everything that I required in

completing this work immersion.

I would like to express my gratitude towards my parents for their kind of support and

encouragement which helped me in this completion of this work immersion portfolio.

I am highly indebted to the teachers in charge during our virtual work immersion

orientation despite of this pandemic they fully give their guidance and constant supervision as

well as for providing necessary information regarding the work immersion.

My thanks and appreciations also go to my classmates in developing this project and

to the people who have willingly helped me out with their knowledge and abilities.

I would like to express my special gratitude and thanks to our teachers for giving me

such attention and time when I have a question for them.

I have taken efforts in this work immersion. However, it would not have been possible

without the kind of support and help of many individuals.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all of them.

INTRODUCTION
Globally, everything has stopped. Workplaces closed and schools shutdown. Projects

have been delayed. The world seems to have grounded because of the novel coronavirus.

However, as we student we continue our education through online learning and via video calls

with our teachers.

My status as a student amidst pandemic. It quite hard because I need to balance my

time. Now, I use gadgets for my studies in order for me to have a connection with my teachers.

To know those information and reminders that they give to me. Nowadays, it really important for

us as a student to have gadgets to proceed in our studies.

My journey during pandemic as a student I reported the home learning program to be

even more stressful than regular classrooms. Take out the benefits of having friends to socialize

with and being stack alone with nothing but modules and performance task.

In terms of Work Immersion Journey as we practically working for our chosen field or

department we will be able to immediately know what we should do when we are qualified of a

certain office. That is why work immersion is a key feature in the senior high school curriculum

in order to be prepared about challenges we come up during our work.

REFLECTION PAPER FOR IMMERSION

A. My Expectation on Work Immersion

My expectation on work immersion is, I know it will be not easy but I

believe it is going to be fulfilling because you are in a first step of your dream and full

of learning when you are going on a work immersion of your chosen field.

since I am not fully ready yet, I expect work immersion to be hard.

There are a lot of adjustments, to the environment, to the co-workers, and most

importantly adjustment to being under a superior.

Moreover, other than expecting work immersion to be hard, I also expect it

to be Fulfilling. I believe it will really be fulfilling since it is a chance to experience

the feeling to be in a workplace while being a student at the same time.

I know immersed on workplace aims to prepare as we students for the

demands and expectations of the working world, and to gain a deeper understanding

of the operations and mechanics of the industry. It is also aimed at helping students

make informed decisions about our future career choices by assessing our interests

and exploring potential ability even though we are in a ground of training.

B. Myself in a Workplace
Myself in a workplace is, I have always been positive and confident

regarding my aims and targets. with these, I am a good decision maker, due to which

I can make right and quick decisions. Moreover, I have ability to motivate others and

do team work. I am also a responsible person, when I make a target;

I work day and night to achieve my goal. However, sometimes I have

weaknesses during our work immersion I can have trouble asking for help, I often get

tense and feel pressure when there is workload and too many tasks to handle but as a

trainer I just have to improve my weaknesses and change for the better.

C. Immersion Orientation

Our Virtual Work Immersion Orientation aims to make the students

appreciate the importance and application of the principles learned in school; enhance

their technical knowledge and skills; enrich their skills in communications and human

relations.

As we student we fully gained new knowledge regarding in work

immersion even though despite of this pandemic.
