The Histograms very with each career field, some showing a relatively normal
distribution while others are skewed. Some may even follow a Chi2 distribution. The major fields
do not state anything specific about the jobs or careers within those fields. Some fields have a
wide spread of incomes, while others may be packed closer together, but make a different wage
than those who are spread out. My chosen profession is nursing; I do not see that on here
however, I would classify it within the humanities group.

I would say that the only outlier with in these groups is the high value in
engineering. The highest value within engineering greatly exceeds the high values
in the other groups. I believe the changes in salaries between the fields are due to a
number of reasons: education level within the given field, time spent working in the
field, and overall public demand for the fields in question. I feel that it should be
with a t-distribution because, although the sample size is a good size, it is still a
sample population.
