Rooms for Physical Training

Weight Room- 1,600 ft^2
Includes exercise machines such as treadmills, max racks, bench press
stations, calf raise machines, and others. Walls will be mirrored, floors will be
cushioned, and able to withstand 150 pounds/squarefoot of live load.
Batting Cage Room- 5,478 ft^2
Includes three Phantom Tension (14Wx14Hx55L) batting cages and aisles
between each cage to observe. Also includes three Iron Mike MP5 Pitching
machines (56Hx30Wx55L). The floor will be padded with pellet-less carpetlike turf so that pellets cannot be kicked up by bouncing baseballs and the turf
will more effectively reduce noise. Walls will be padded at least halfway up to
reduce damage from batted balls should they impact a wall.
Replica Infield- 24,605 ft^2
Includes a full size 90 foot diamond and an outfield with 50 foot depth. The
floor is padded carpet-like turf and the roof is elevated reinforced glass to give
the field added height and a more realistic training feel.
Male and Female Locker Rooms- 3,410 ft^2 (both locker rooms)
Includes toilets, urinals, showers, and a dressing area. The floor is epoxycoated concrete (easy to clean) and the rooms have increased ventilation.

Rooms for Physical Training

Pitching/Flex Room- 1,900ft^2
Includes three pitching tunnels and three movable ProMounds
Collegiate Pitching Mounds (artificial mounds) for pitching
practice. Walls will be padded so thrown or misfielded
baseballs will not cause damage. Retractable netting can be
dropped from the ceiling between each pitching tunnel so
poorly thrown pitches cannot hit other players. The area is
open so it can be used for other types of exercises like
calisthenics and running.

Rooms for Mental Training

Presentation Room- 750 ft^2
This room is designed for 30 players to fit comfortably, but can
support 50 people. The walls are white so images can be
projected onto them. The room is ideally going to be used for
game clips, film, and strategy but also can double as a
meeting place for Pinnacle Performance Institute employees.
During events like the World Series, it could be used to make
extra money by showing the games.
Snack Bar- 120 ft^2
This is a small room with a counter that stocks healthy snacks
(protein bars, fruit) and drinks (water, Gatorade, milk). One
employee will man the counter and sell nourishment to players
or other visitors. Player health is an important factor in training.
