necessary.
Observed Strengths: /

Great way to the students going using the

If you are happy and you know it song.
It appears that you have worked hard on
preparing for the lesson.
A very good inquiry lesson. Students
were given an opportunity to observe
some rocks and record their observations.

Areas in which further development is needed:

Dont have the students read the objectives not
should the teacher be reading them. The teacher
should however explain to the students what they
will learn and how they will learn it using simple
language.
Review the first objective Imagine we are going to
the cave trip to investigate rocks. How will you
know they imagine. Students must be given an
opportunity to use their imagination either through
writing or drawing.
The engagement questions were ambiguous(not
clear)
Reduce teacher talk. Students will not remember
the procedures to the activity. Provide students
with the materials and demonstrate what needs to
be done.
Instructions were too small for the students. Use a
full sheet of paper for the instructions as well as the
data table
Materials were not all usable. The students had a
tough time unwrapping the rocks.
The scientific Method was posted on the board,
however the students were unaware they were
following the scientific process.
You must focus students attentions. The lesson
was not summarize. I am not so sure students
understand the purpose of the activity
