    Competency 008: The teacher provides appropriate instruction that actively

    engages students in the learning process.


    Uses many different procedures and strategies to enhance the students understanding. Presents
    the content in ways that are relevant to now. Guides the students to see that their own
    experiences will help with the lesson. Makes sure that all understand the goals for the lesson.
    Presents the students with hands-on activities that will stimulate the learning process. Motivates
    students to be self-learners. Gives a foundation of the English language.
    Examples:

    Give examples and stories that will help the students understand the lesson.
    Give some hands-on activities that the students will enjoy and help with their learning.
