World Vision needs a framework to transform the data being
collected and stored by the CommCare into appropriate structures so that
it can be readily available for use by Community Health Workers (CHW),
Village Health Teams (VHT) and other stakeholders. In order to achieve
this we propose to develop a system with the following components:
1. A Extract Transform and Load application. This application will
extract data from CommCare and transform it into appropriate
structures and send it to the data warehouse.
2. A data warehouse. The data warehouse will store all data that
has been transformed into appropriate structures for use by CHWs and
VHTs.
3. A front-end application. The front-end application is a web
based application to enable end users and stakeholders to work with
the data stored in the data warehouse.
In the next section we a provide a diagram illustrating a simple
implementation of the system we propose.
