APJ Abdul Kalam was unarguably one of the most loved presidents India has
ever seen. His five years in office changed peoples notion, post
of president was no more considered as a decorative one. He was not only
one of the finest human beings to have ever lived but he was also the most
uncontroversial figure in contemporary India. He lived an illustrious and
successful life, and his legacy will continue to inspire people around the
world in the coming years.

Sub: The Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act, 2013 Submission of declaration

of assets and liabilities by the public servants.
Further to our Circular No: PL/PR&IR15/511 dated 15.05.2015 on the aforementioned subject, all
employees both executive and non- executives, are hereby requested to submit their declaration of
assets and liabilities as per the following time line:
a) The first return (as on 1st August, 2014) [as was initially required to be filled by 15th September,
2014] can now be filled by 15th October, 2015.
b) The next annual return ( as on 31st March, 2015 ) [ as was initially required to be filled by 31st
July, 2015] can now be filled by 15th October, 2015.
c) The annual for subsequent years ( as on 31st March every year) are required to be filled on or
before by 31st July , of that year

Best employee of the year 2014 Coke Ovens

Another feather in the cap of the already acclaimed DAKSH The
Best Employee of the Month motivational scheme was added when
Coke Oven department awarded Sri R. P. Singh and Sri Pulok
Chattoraj the Best Employees of the Year Award for 2014.

Workshop on best practices in HRIS

Personnel Department of SAIL-ISP organized a one & half day workshop on Sharing Best Practices
in HRIS. It was a platform wherein representatives of sister units- BSP, BSL, RSP, DSP, Corporate
office and CMO shared and presented their system of HRIS.
