I have been acquainted with Jennifer Ortega since July, 2015. She has been a part of our 2nd grade
class at Esperanza Elementary School.
Ms. Ortega is always positive and enthusiastic about teaching and education. She believes in her
ability to meet the needs of our students.
I have found Ms. Ortega to be receptive to new ideas. She is very willing to share her knowledge with
peers. Researching what materials are available and suitable for our students has always been a priority
for Ms. Ortega. She fits materials appropriately into her lesson plans and incorporates the latest in
technology into our instructional program.
Ms. Ortega possesses a positive and enthusiastic personality. She has a great rapport with the students.
She is always ready with a smile and a kind word. She has a positive working relationship with each of
our students, as well as with other staff members.
Ms. Ortega disciplines in a fair and dignified manner. She encourages positive behavior by reinforcing
it in class. She presents a warm and open attitude towards our students and she builds positive selfesteem in them.
I am strongly confident that Ms. Ortega will be an asset to any staff that she works with. She is
confident and knowledgeable. I believe that she will continue to grow and become even more effective
as a teacher with further opportunities.
