Homographs Game

Students are put in pairs.


Each student is assigned a set of photos that corresponds to the same word.
The words are placed around the room in order to allow students to get up
during class to match the photos and words. (Signs for words provided at the
end of the slides)
4. Students tape the pictures to the words that correspond to them and then
proceed to walk around to learn new homophones.
5. Students will talk with a partner to describe what they learned.
6. Students will share an explanation of homophones in their own words.
To make the game harder hand out the pictures at random
