Gaming PC - Explain the uses here
Gaming pcs are mainly used for gaming but can you can do almost
anything on them. E.g. (watch movies, stream and listen to music). Most
gaming computers are custom built because you have to upgrade the
parts of it often e.g. (graphics card, processor) so that it
will be able to handle new games.
Entertainment PC- Explain the uses here
An entertainment type pc should only be able to be used to surf the
internet but it should also be able to be able to play movies and listen to
music and may be able to handle some games depending on how much
fps you need to run them on and the quality you want it to have it on.

M1
Review how the processor choice of a computer can affect performance,
e.g. in terms of speed, reliability and efficiency
Most users dont use 100 percent of the CPUs power so it shouldnt really
effect casual users. But things like encoding video or encrypting files
which requires a lot of processing power will work better and faster with a
better CPU. Most users spend their time on their computer viewing
webpages. So the only time the CPU is under stress is when it starts up
and is loading on the start-up programs and processes. The clock speed or
the processor speed is often a major issue in a computers overall
performance. The MHZ or GHZ is the number of times the CPU can switch
back from 1 to 0 so it is the driving force in the power of the processor so
that means the higher the MHZ chip the more power the CPU will have
and will increase the effectiveness of the PC. Higher clock speed allows
you to run programs faster. L1 and L2 cache is usually on the CPU and is
really fast. Cache allows for faster temporary processing and speeds up
the processing power of the CPU when carrying out similar tasks. A CPU
possesses digital data by taking each piece of data by a one at a time and
the amount of time it has to process each piece of data is controlled by a
clock inside the CPU. With every tick of the clock the CPU is able to
process one piece of data or execute one instruction so they faster the
clock goes the faster it will process data. The CPU clock speed is
measured in cycles per second. A computer running at 1GHZ can carry out
billions of calculations per second. Naturally the speed of the clock
determines the basic performance of the CPU the faster it goes and the
more powerful the computer.
Most computers only have a single CPU which may have multiple cores
which will make it run faster because it has more processing power.
