Advantages
A smart sensor takes over the load of signal
conditioning and control of sensor signal
reducing the load on central control system
allowing faster system operations
As compared to Conventional Sensor they
have smaller size
Low Power Consumption
Direct digital control provides high accuracy
not achievable with analogue control systems
