1. (4 points) How do we create a Haystacking Section in NX? Illustrate your answer with an
example
Haystacking sections are basically a tool that maintains design intent by reducing
the amount of trimming necessary to build a section. So in other words instead of
creating many shapes and trimming and cutting from, we simply stack them in
order to get our desired dimensions/shape, and then we extrude when it is as desired
and correctly dimensioned.
2. (6 points) Model the Tube Hanger shown below in NX 9. Then create multi-view drawings and
add dimensions. Dimensions are in inches.
