MEDITERRANEAN DIET
1. Abundance of plant foods fruits, vegetables, bread, pasta,
rice, grains, beans and potatoes
2. Eat seasonal foods in their natural state, always choosing
the freshest
3. Use olive oil as the main fat frying so as to garnish
4. Eat moderate amounts of cheese and yogurt daily
5. Eat moderate weekly fish, preferably blue, poultry and eggs

MEDITERRANEAN DIET
6. Eat nuts, honey and olives in moderation
7. Red meat few times a month
8. Consuming wine in moderation usually during meals
and preferably red
9. Use herbs as a healthy alternative to salt
10. Conduct regular physical activity to work your heart
and keep fit our joints and our physical tone
