This poster, much like my own idea, makes creative use of text in order to empha: @ one of the film’s selling points. In the placement of Jim Carrey’s name the producing institution have effectively engaged their targeted audience's attention through celebrity endorsement. | however, am planning to de the same, using text to represent the film title in a different way not the actor's name. I will take inspiration from this poster as they have created a bold text de: nin order to engage their targeted audience effectively. | will de the same in order to emphasize the significance of the title and the symbolic weight it carries for the silent narrative. he producing credits are used n the poster to impact the pinion of the targeted udience at first glance. here the fame of the main haracter is revealed the argeted audience will next bok towards the producing nstitution for a sense of ality assurance. In making se of the producing credits he producing institution has fered a second level of uality guarantee as the roducing institution can mpacta film's success off the jack of its own reputation. Having the main character represented in an over exaggerat pose portrays the mocking theme within the narrative that the producing institution are hoping will be communicated effectively ‘The mocking image represents th main character as @ clown and foreshadows the ways in which th narrative will mock the character: values, enticing it’s targeted “audience therefore as they are targeted by the use of humour. Ti main image also includes the use props that depicts the main ideologies within the narrative. I hoping also to use symbolism in n final product to portray the significance of the product in Johr life. The use of colour schemes in the poster contribute to the efforts made by the producing institution to grab the audience's attention. Having a plain white background and the bold text colour will naturally interest the targeted audience. | am hoping to imitate this in order to engage my targeted audience effectively
