specifically for student field trips!! The funds were raised by the Eureka Elks and the Eureka-based Baku family. The money was ear-marked for Equestrian Therapy services for Glen Paul students. Those services are no longer available locally, therefore the Elks agreed that the funds shall help pay for student field trips. The funds are primarily designed for students to have access to a broader range of experiences; such as performing arts events and visits to the Vector Therapy pool for medically fragile students. High-school and College-aged students take part in curriculum based outings; called "community-based instruction." CBI outings help increase opportunities for life-skill learning. The funds may also be available for other types of student outings. Next time you see a Humboldt County Elks member, stop and say "THANK YOU" for their generous donation to Glen Paul School.
