Antibiotics
The spread of a gene that is immune to antibiotics. Forcing many different types of
bacteria, that normally are easily cured by antibiotics to become immune to even the most
powerful antibiotics. This also allows the bacteria to spread so much easier in hospitals around
the world. Creating super bugs, bacteria the is normally easier killed with antibiotics to become
immune to all of them. Coupled with the lack of research going into finding new antibiotics a
serious threat looms on the horizon, that of a world without antibiotics. A world where a small
cut at work could easily lead to death. While things we currently view as weak and easy cured,
can easy become extremely deadly. This is also due in part to the over use of antibiotics to try to
treat other ailments, wether its due to a persistent parent, or a greedy doctor. Antibiotics are
abused and ether over used, or not used for their full duration when they are needed. All leafing
to a world where we may no longer have the medical miracle that is antibiotics.
