4th Grade D.I.

May 20, 2016

Hello from Miss Searle:

Can you believe we have one week of school left? We are enjoying these last days of
school with fun fieldtrips, class activities, and assemblies.
Thanks to all the parents who came to the Morningside 60th Birthday Celebration. I
heard from several parents and teachers that the 4th grade rocked it!
Check out the class website for pictures from Rendezvous.
Have a great weekend.

Last day of
school!

This Week:
-Math: We reviewed measurement and used rulers to make a cool art measurement project.
We also reviewed how to round decimals and division problems.
-Computers: We practiced our coding skills in the computer lab and on the Chromebooks.
-Reading: We continued reading The Westing Game. Hopefully we will finish by the end of
next week!
-Science: Students presented their Google Docs they created about an endangered animal
of Utah.
-Social Studies: We finished our Expert in You presentations. It was so fun to see all the
different talents of the students.
