Classroom Volunteers

Thanks so much for your interest in helping out in our classroom this year. Please check off any
items you are willing to help out with and indicate a general time frame that works for you. As the
year goes on, I may need field trip chaperones or other types of volunteers. I will send home notes
requesting help as those positions become available.

collate and staple packets
bind class-made books
cut out laminating
work with students

hang up or take down items
create items for our classroom

Friday Folders: Every Friday you will be filing a weeks worth of work to go home into individual

folders for students to place in their binders. This is an important job that must be done by rotating
volunteers consistently each week.

Help from Home: This position is for those volunteers who cannot come into the classroom due to
their schedule or other reasons but want to help out from home. Home volunteers may be asked to:
glue
cut out, trace and color items as well as sort
collate or type student work
cut out laminated game pieces
