PEL LEARNING AIM: -I can understand very simple instructions

-I can understand some words and phrases in songs

1. Pupils choose their favourite songs and study the lyrics in class before the workshop.
2. Dancers start giving simple instructions in English for a very energetic warm-up.
3. Students then mimic dancers in a short choreography using some of the pupils chosen
songs.
4. Pupils are then paired up to follow instructions in English using a variety of songs.
5. Pupils are then assembled in a circle to allow the creativity of those who can name a
movement in English and perform it so that the rest have to repeat it.
6. The workshop finishes with the group divided into 2 teams to do a dance fight.
7. Relaxation exercises then end the activity.
