Stage 1 Desired Results

Content Standard(s):

The main set of standard we will be working with will be the SD27J standard
(School District 27J) this is the school district that Adrian attends so it makes sense to prepare
him for success in his current curriculum will developing this lesson plan and program. The
first goal that they incorporate is that the student will be able to add and subtract facts 0-20
by fluent. In addition, the student will need to be able to add and subtract within the 100. This
district provides examples of methods that can be used to assist the student in learning what
is required. One of the methods will be using flash card with random equations on adding and
subtracting. In addition, we will be using a timed work sheet either on the internet or on
paper. Furthermore, we will use these child friendly websites that provide math practice test
that will assist the student with memorizing their math facts.
Understandings:

The student will understand the number

The student will need to learn time lessons
and relate them to math. The student will
use the math lessons in relation with day
to day life so make the connection and get
a better understand.

Essential Questions:

Do you understand how to

analyze a group of numbers?
How do you know when
addition and subtraction need
to be used in a word problem?
How do you determine the
value of a number?
What method can be used to
determine the number that is
one before or one after another
number, or the number
between two other numbers?

Student will incorporate measurements to

daily activity so that they can be
practicing and learning all the time.
Student will be able to perform basic
math problems with coins.

Stage 2 Assessment Evidence Directly Aligned to Content Standard

Performance Task(s):

This lesson Plan will help the students create goals and keep them relate to the ultimate
objective.
The students will compare the state standards to their game plan and make sure they are
learning what is needed to meet these requirements.
The students will need to develop individual understanding on the best method for solving
math problems such as addition, subtraction, and time clock lessons.
Preparing themselves for the final exam that will evaluate and determine the understand of all
the previous lessons.
The assessments that were developed will be used in the end to calculate progress.

The students will be asked to demonstrate in a class group project how they can compare the lessons
that were taught in class and in homework with their day to day activities. In this session they will be
able to help each other with understand by asking additional questions and providing constructive
feedback to each other.

Stage 3 Learning Plan Directly Aligned to Content Standard AND Assessments
Learning Activities:
The lesson plan is briefly described in this section with bullet form for easy understanding.

Pre-assessment: Math Quiz

Placement assessment: Based on pre-assessment
Expectation plan: self -assessment targets and development
The incorporation of the material that the students will use for development such as the
dominos, quizzes, and practice test
The incorporation of group grading sessions and group activities we will have lecture for the
first ten minutes then we will work on some computer activities and finally we will pair up
and have a 15-minute quiz.
Introduction of expectations and standards for year plan
The students will have visual goals to help them meet the standards and expectations they will
develop attainable goals for example we will have a list of our goals on a paper taped to the
corner of our desks. We will also have a group chat daily to review goals and plans. Each

student will have a checklist to mark off as we complete goals.

Feedback and support will be available at all times in group sessions or on a one- on- one
base. When playing dominos in groups I will make myself available to introduce ideas and
help with questions. In addition, when we are on computer time I will walk around to each
student to help determine their what they have accomplish towards goal development and
where they need to be in near future.

Stage 4 Feedback Strategies (Entire Unit Plan)

The students will be provided information on where they are and what they need if anything to meet
their goals and expectations.
