Hand Bouquet Arrangement

Hannah Forrey pd.6

Description
This arrangement taught us how to do a simple hand bouquet that is medium-sized,
rounded, and light purple, white and green flowers. The principles that we learned
when making this arrangement is that it should be able to stand up by itself, and
that when the bouquet is being held only about one inch of stem should be showing
underneath both hands.

3. Add the Poms in a triangle formation even spread out in the Fugis and
solid aster
4. Add the lemon leaf in between some flowers
Standards Addressed in this arrangement
A possible career that this arrangement may represent is someone in the wedding
business. Bouquets are normally used in weddings, and the steps that were taken to
make the bouquet the perfect length and shape could aid a wedding florist. We
learned about physical and mental balance in this arrangement along with
placement.
Critique

The only thing i would change about my arrangement, is that i would probably
shorten my stems a little more.

Summary
I learned how to properly arrange a medium sized hand bouquet. I also learned how
tall it should be, how it should be able to stand up on its own, how to cut the stems
(longer on the outside shorter in the middle), how much stem should stick out
under your hands, how the lengths of the flowers should differ, and how to tie a
pipe cleaner towards the top.
