American realism was a style in art, music and literature about social realities and

the lives and everyday activities of ordinary people. The art movement began in mid19th century and became an important tendency in art in the early 20th century.
Whether a cultural portrayal or a scenic view of downtown New York City, American
realist works attempted to define what was real. American realism artist such a Thomas
Eakins, he was born on July 25, 1844 June 25, 1916. He did paintings about his
friends, family, and prominent people. He was widely acknowledged to be one of the
most important American artist in history.

Another American realism artist is George Bellows, he was born on August 12, 1882January 8, 1925. He was known to painting about life in New York city and becoming

the most acclaimed American artist of his generation. He practiced his art in New York
city making paintings of the city and the life, he also did a series of paintings depicting
New York city under the snowfall. In those paintings he demonstrated his strong sense
of light and texture in his painting.

Lastly, Robert Henri who was born on June 24, 1865 - July 12 1929 , he was an
American painter and teacher and was a leader in the Ashcan School of American
realism and an organizer of the group know as Eight, which is a association of artists.
He practiced his art in New York City and Newark to Chicago and he painted about the
city and the way people live their lives there.

Street Art (Graffiti) is a visual art created in public places and or public areas, usually
unsanctioned artwork executed outside of the context of traditional art venues. The term
gained popularity during the graffiti art boom of the early 1980s and continues to be
applied to subsequent incarnations. Stencil graffiti,wheatposted poster art or sticker art,
and street installation or sculpture are common forms of modern street art. Video
projection, yarn bombing and Lock On sculpture became popularized at the turn of the
21st century. Street artists such as Banksy or Robin Gunningham, little is known of
him but his art work mostly consist of dark humor with graffiti in distinctive stencil
technique and his artwork has been featured on streets, walls, and bridges of cities
throughout the world. Banksy has said he was inspired by the 3D who is a graffiti artist
also.

Another Street artist is Richard "Richie" Mirando, known as Seen UA, born 1961 in
the Bronx, New York City, is one of the most well known graffiti artists in the world, often
referred to as the Godfather of Graffiti. Seen first started to paint on New York City
Subway system in 1973. For the next 16 years his pieces were running across the city
and on all subway routes, but they were especially prominent on the 2, 5, and 6 trains.
He was responsible for dozens of whole car top to bottoms, many of which have
become iconic images of the time.

Lastly, Lady Pink or Sandra Fabara is a graffiti artist in New York City. Nicknamed
the first lady of graffiti because she was one of the first women active in the early 1980s
subway graffiti subculture. She started her graffiti writing career in 1979 following the
loss of a boyfriend who had been sent to live in Puerto Rico after he had been arrested.
Within a few years she was running with TC5 The cool 5 graffiti group and The Public
Animals group also.

Digital Art is an artistic work that uses technology as an essential part of the creative or
presentation process and various names have been used to describe the process
including computer art and multimedia art, and digital art is itself placed under the larger
umbrella term new media art. After some initial resistance, the impact of digital
technology has transformed activities such as painting, drawing, sculptureand
music/sound art, while new forms, such as net art, digital installation art, and virtual
reality, have become recognized artistic practices. More generally the term digital artist
is used to describe an artist who makes use of digital technologies in the production of
art.
Digital Artists such as Alberto Seveso was born in Milan, he grow up in Sardinia but is
now working and living in Bristol (UK) as a freelancer. His passion for graphic art started
when he was in a young age and he was really fascinated by the graphic of skate decks
and the cover of music CD of metal bands in the early 90s. From this passion he started
to create his artworks. His work has been featured on various magazines, books and
blogs like Huffington Post, GQ Magazine, Wired, Colossal, Computer Arts, Advanced
Photoshop Magazine, La Repubblica, Photoshop Creative.

Another Digital artist is Evgeny Parfenov who is a freelance illustrator from Moscow,
Russia with an outstanding style of illustration. Specialized portrait illustration, the style

amazing compositions.

Finally, one more digital artist is Richard Davies who is a digital artist and designer
based in South Wales, United Kingdom. He has worked with clients such as Rolling
Stone, Alliance Films and NBC Universal. Richard is also known as 'Turksworks' where
he offers his skills and a designer and digital illustrator.
