Info from our Medical Centre

If you are leaving Norwich for summer vacation (but returning in
Autumn) make sure you have enough medication to last you until
your return. If you need an appointment to see a doctor or a nurse
for a prescription that is not on repeat, or if your medication review
date is overdue, don't leave it until the last minute to book your appointment!
**NEW** Electronic Prescribing
The practice now supports electronic prescribing. What does this
mean for you? Quick and convenient access to collect your medication wherever you are in England (eg home for vacation). If you
wish to receive your prescriptions electronically, you need to speak
the pharmacist to arrange this. If you change your chosen pharmacy
to one near your family home during vacations it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to make sure that this is changed back to a local
one when you return to university.
Enjoy the summer sunshine safely. Protect yourself from sun damage. For a happy, enjoyable summer in the sun: spend time in the
shade between 11am and 3pm, cover up with a t-shirt, hat and sunglasses, make sure you never burn, use a sunscreen with a protection
level of at least SPF15 and 4 stars, use it generously and reapply regularly

Coming back in September and you want to

leave some of your stuff here?
Have you arranged your summer storage yet? If not now is
the best time to arrange things. At Big Box Storage Centre
most students storing on their own will require a 10 Sq. Ft.
room, or a 25 Sq. Ft. room is perfect for 2 or 3 students
sharing which can help reduce costs. The easiest & cheapest way to move your goods is by taxi ABC are usually
very accommodating & with Big Box Storage Centre being the closest Self-Storage Centre to the University, fares
start from just 10-12. Prices for the storage rooms can
be found & room reservations can be made easily online at
www.bigboxstorage.com/storage-centres/norwich or call
the Centre directly on 01603 424600. Spaces are limited
so early reservation is recommended. As a bonus, the first
50 student reservations made will benefit from a massive
50% student discount on the first 8 weeks storage!
