Staying on Campus over Christmas?
Here is a list of activities and events the Student Support
Service has organised on campus over the Christmas
vacation:
Make new friends and socialise! You can watch Christmas
films, play board games and the Nintendo Wii on the big
screen all while having free snacks and drinks. Available on
the following dates at the Multifaith Centre from 7pm. All
events are free!

Sunday 24th December - Christmas Eve Social
The Christmas Eve Social will have the same fun activities
as other nights but will be followed by a trip to the Norwich
Cathedral at 11pm for a traditional night-time Christmas
Service.
Monday 25th DecemberChristmas Day Meal and Get
Together 1pm
Join us on Christmas Day and share a meal in good
company. Please bring a dish (main, side, dessert or drink)
to share.

UKCISA - PGT students seeking help - Survey.
Are you a postgraduate student? A PhD student at the
University of Glasgow is researching why PGT students may
choose to seek help or avoid seeking help with academic
issues and how being an international student in the UK may
impact decisions around seeking academic help.

TRAVEL - Travelling outside the UK this Christmas?
Have fun, but
take care of your passport and Tier 4 visas (BRP)
Leave your travel documents in a safe place, the safe, or
a locked drawer in your hotel room. Dont take them out
with you unless you need them for travel. Keep your
passport, visa and bank card in different places and
never leave your jacket or bags unattended.
If you are unlucky enough to lose your passport and/or
visa, then contact Security by email Security@uea.ac.uk

Norwich Open Christmas - St Andrews Hall Norwich
For those alone or homeless at Christmas, Norwich City
Council are hosting a Christmas event with a free meal,
warmth, entertainment and company.

Conversation Club -
UEA Conversation Club hosted their annual Christmas Party
on the 12th December. Here are some pictures from the
amazing event. If you are interested in joining the conversation
club you can find more information HERE.

LEGO Exhibition - The Forum Norwich, 10.00am - 4.00pm

Brick Wonders is a free Lego art exhibition curated by
Warren Elsmore using over 500,000 bricks. The Exhibition
transforms the 7 ancient wonders of the world into Lego
including the Egyptian pyramids, Matterhorn mountain and
the Southern lights. The exhibition runs from Friday 1st
December till Sunday 21st January only closing on the 24th,
25th and 26th of December.

Christmas Coffee Club
Staying on campus over the Christmas break? You're not
alone! The SU will be giving away free coffee, tea and mince
pies on Christmas day from Unio Cafe in Union House.
Come and grab a hot drink between 11am and 12pm on
Christmas day, and join others from across campus to play
some board games that will be set out in the Hive.
Get your free voucher from reception in Union House

The UEA Multifaith Centre closes on Friday 15th December
and re-opens on Sunday 14th January for Catholic Mass at
6pm.
Students are warmly invited to visit venues in the City for wor-
ship/events.
