• Synopsis The climate has always varied, the
problem of climate change is that in the last
century the pace of these changes has been
accelerated so anomalous, to such an extent
that affects and planetary life. In seeking the
cause of this acceleration, some scientists found
that there is a direct link between global warming
or climate change and increasing emissions of
greenhouse gases (GHGs), caused mainly by
industrialized societies
• A phenomenon of concern to the world:
global warming and its direct effect,
climate change, which occupies much of
the efforts of the international scientific
community to study it and control it,
because, they say, threatens the future of
humanity.
• Why so much concern? Highlights
scientists agree that increasing the
concentration of greenhouse gases in the
atmosphere is causing changes in climate.
Also agrees that emissions of
greenhouse gases (GHGs) have been
very intense since the Industrial
Revolution, at which time the action of
man over nature was intense.
• Faced with this, the international scientific
community has warned that if global
development, population growth and
energy consumption based on fossil fuels
continue to rise at current rates before the
year 2050 concentrations of carbon
dioxide will be doubled with respect to
which it had before the Industrial
Revolution. This could result in dire
consequences for planetary alive.
• El clima siempre ha variado, el problema del cambio
climático es que en el último siglo el ritmo de estas
variaciones se ha acelerado de manera anómala, a tal
grado que afecta ya la vida planetaria . Al buscar la
causa de esta aceleración, algunos científicos
encontraron que existe una relación directa entre el
calentamiento global o cambio climático y el aumento
de las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI),
provocado principalmente por las sociedades
industrializadas.
• Un fenómeno preocupa al mundo: el calentamiento
global y su efecto directo, el cambio climático, que
ocupa buena parte de los esfuerzos de la comunidad
científica internacional para estudiarlo y controlarlo,
porque, afirman, pone en riesgo el futuro de la
humanidad.
¿Por qué preocupa tanto? Destacados científicos coinciden
en que el incremento de la concentración de gases
efecto invernadero en la atmósfera terrestre está
provocando alteraciones en el clima. Coinciden también
en que las emisiones de gases efecto invernadero (GEI)
han sido muy intensas a partir de la Revolución
Industrial, momento a partir del cual la acción del
hombre sobre la naturaleza se hizo intensa.
Ante ello, la comunidad científica internacional ha alertado
de que si el desarrollo mundial, el crecimiento
demográfico y el consumo energético basado en los
combustibles fósiles, siguen aumentando al ritmo actual
, antes del año 2050 las concentraciones de dióxido de
carbono se habrán duplicado con respecto a las que
había antes de la Revolución Industrial. Esto podría
acarrear consecuencias funestas para la viva planetaria.
