Step 1

Friday is Stop Cyber Bulling day

Hand out some clean sheets of

paper to the class. One sheet per 24 people. Ask the class to damage
the paper by screweing it up,
stepping on it, kicking it to each
other. Then let the whole class
throw the screwed up paper around
the class a few times. Make it clear
not to rip the paper.

Many people who become involved in

cyberbullying are not aware of the
damage and emotional stress they may
be causing. Be kind online and look out
for one another.

Step 2
Get the class to now try flatten out
the sheets of paper and apologise
for screwing it up and kicking it

around. No matter how much they

try to do this the paper will remain
creased and dirty.
Step 3
Explain to the group that no matter
how sorry they are, the emotional
scars of cyberbulling can stay with
someone for a long time. Just like
the damage to the piece of paper.
