The game field consists of 18 foam
floor tiles in a 3 x 6 configuration. Each
foam floor tile measure 2 x 2 ft (60.96
cm x 60.96 cm) Black tiles consist of
open field. Colored tiles will host way
points for scoring elements. There is a
white border surrounding the field
that will act as a virtual border. The
two sides of the field are separated by
a 2 x 6 (35mm x 140mm or near
equivalent) painted black to keep
robots from wandering onto the other
playing field.

Tips:

Tips:

Use approximately 1 inch (2.54cm)

The white line can be placed anywhere on the yellow mats on the
day of the competition, but should remain in the same place for the
duration of the tournament.

Wrap the tape completely around


each tile to keep it from coming up.
Try to find tape with a matte finish.
Tape that has a glossy finish will not
be as effective for light and color
sensors as it reflects too much light.

Step 2:
Pull up the edge of the mat along the outside border of the
waypoint.

Place the gap in the feet between the mat.

Line the waypoints delivery chute up
with the white tape.

Replace the mat securing the waypoint to the playing field.
