Read A Twisted Tale by Carolyn Fisher Make three sections on the board for beginning, middle and end Ask students what major event(s) happened in beginning etc. Write major events under the appropriate section on the board Hand out worksheetsstudents pick one of the events from each section and draws a picture, then writes a sentence describing the scene
Closure: (~5 minutes)
If these events didnt happen would there be a story? Make sure they understand that one event has to lead to another to make a good story
