I am a student at American High School in Fremont and wanted to reach out

to you for support on a new project we have initiated. I am currently the
__________ at American High School DECA (http://www.deca.org/). DECA is a
famous international club that focuses on helping high school students
emerge as future business leaders or entrepreneurs. In this club, we learn
about several aspects of business, such as marketing, business
administration, accounting and finance. There are numerous competitions
throughout the year, ranging from regional district conferences to the
International Career Development Conference (ICDC). These conferences
provide students with a valuable opportunity to participate in role plays
events or present their own business plan in a Shark Tank-like environment.
Our DECA chapter is quite new, as it was created in 2012. Since then, our
chapter has been recognized for showing tremendous membership growth
each year. As it expands, we need funds to keep our chapter successful so
we can continue to provide a platform for nurturing future business leaders.
On behalf of my chapter I would like to explore opportunity for (company
name) to support American High School DECA. We have a target to raise
$10,000 this year. With your help, we can use the money for the following
needs

Invite guest speakers and business leaders to further our knowledge

on business and share their experience in the corporate world.

Organize workshops on Marketing, Business Administration, Finance,

and Entrepreneurship and purchase practice material for our student
members to provide in depth knowledge on these practices.

Organize chapter community service projects.

Prepare students from our chapter to participate and win regional and
international competitions. These events are costly but with
sponsorship from companies like yours or a generous donation, we can
accomplish our goal to reduce the burden placed on our members and
make everyone eligible to compete.

Any donation amount will help towards making our chapter stronger and our
members better prepared to be ready to enter the workforce as future
employees or entrepreneurs. We are thankful for this wonderful opportunity
and look forward to collaborate with your company.
