Playable Tribes
Dwarves The Kemar are short, stocky, hairy humanoids that live in the
more mountainous areas. They are masters of obsidian and are among the
few that can create edged weapons. They are often used by the Arturak as
miners. Some Kemar have started living in caves to avoid the Arturak.
Elves The Azan are a race of xenophobic elves. They, along with the Urud,
were the first to discover magic, though unlike the Urud they refuse to give
up their secrets. They live deep in the forests, making their homes up in the
treetops. They are a very spiritual race, and the tribes are led by shamans.
Goliaths The Urud, or goliaths, are a nomadic race of giants. They were
among the first races to discover magic, and have been known to teach
others the ways. They are very elusive, despite their size, and are rarely
seen by outsiders. They are also among the most intelligent of races, though
they still have not created a written language.
Halflings The halflings, or Rulisti as they are known here, are a race of
short, carnivorous humanoids. They mostly rely on animal meat, but they will
turn to cannibalism when necessary. They are one of the few races that the
Arturak (lizardfolk) avoid, simply because of the ferocity with which the
Rulisti will defend themselves, and are generally killed instead of enslaved.
Humans Humans, or Samuta, are a group of humanoids. They are diverse,
good at doing many things, which makes them valuable slaves to the Arturak
(lizardfolk). They were the first race to successfully domesticate animals.

Enemy Tribes
Lizardfolk The Arturak are the dominant race on Gei (the continent this
takes place). They are the oldest living race, and are highly intelligent. They
are the only race that has learned to use metal, and the only ones to have a
written language. They are also the first race to use arcane magic on a wide
scale. They are ruthless slavers, enslaving everything but the Rulisti.
