RESEARCH/ AIM/DEMOGRAPHIC

The film is a comedy drama and will balance the two genres much like things such
as This is England and Shameless'.
Like these two, it will focus on character and their story lines-following their day-today life.
The comedy elements will be deadpan and dry much like: Tim & Eric and 'Flight of
The Conchords'. We want to utilise the off-beat comedic timing that these two duos
expertly manipulate.

Anti-humour is the
direction we
want to aim
towards.
Similar to Films
such as
'Submarine', 'Just Jim' and 'Napoleon Dynamite'.
The Shaggy Dog story is a great example of the sense of humour we are wanting to
use.
These are things Jack & I grew up with and inspired us to create something of the
same nature.
We hope to enter the film into film
festivals due to the sense of humour we
feel the majority of people will
understand as well as it's style of
cinematography. We want this to
further our experience and ability as
film-makers and make the film
company more well-known
The demographic is 18-35. Much the
same as Tim and Eric's work.

The film will highlight ordinary people and their lives, hopes and dreams.. Much like
documentaries like 'The Undateables' and 'First Dates' do.
