checks, including tolerances

Enable interference checking of model sub-partitions
against each other. For example, checking for interferences between the electrical and HVAC components
The time and frequency concerning when the interference
job should be executed
Support for configuration specifications and expansion
criteria The interference job definition enables the use of
configuration specifications and predefined expansion criteria
in order to check a configurable product for interferences and
clearance violations.
Define dynamic component and assembly groups Automatically populate and create component and assembly groupings on the basis of metadata or the product structure hierarchy. This capability allows interference jobs to accommodate
model changes (ex. components being added or removed).
The grouping definition also allows interference checking to
support configurable product structures, including options
and variants.
Support for heterogeneous CAD models By using the Creo
View adapters, the Windchill Interference Management Service
can analyze models that were developed in a variety of MCAD
packages for possible interferences.
Readily available reports Users can easily and graphically
navigate interference reports directly from the Windchill user
interface, enabling rapid understanding of the interference
check results.
