Introduction
The introduction is the beginning of the narrative in
which the author introduces the:
Setting
Characters
Central Conflict
Rising Action
The rising action is the second part of the story in
which:
Characters are developed through their actions
Character motives become more clear
Conflict develops
Climax
The climax is the third part of the plot in which the
conflict reaches its peak or turning point.
Falling Action
The falling action is the fourth part of the story and
includes the events that follow the climax.
Conclusion
The conclusion is the end of the story and indicates how
the conflict has been resolved.
