Generators are available with different types of cooling systems:
TEWAC (totally enclosed water-to-air cooling)
CACA (closed air-to-air cooling)
DAC (direct air cooling, cooling-air intake via filter).

Axial Compressor

Generators with water-cooled stators and hydrogen-cooled rotors are

optimal for the highest output ranges. Their compact design coupled
with our unique direct water-cooled stator is suitable for large steam
power plant applications ranging up to 1270 MVA.
