Role Manual Functional Tester

Responsibilities:
• Involved in Test Case Execution on Service procurement (SP), contracts during Smoke
Test.
• Involved in Test Case Execution on SSP, contracts & RFx during Scenario Regression
Test.
• Involved in raising many New Defects during the test phase.
• I worked on a new topic Supplier Collaboration. Here we create a self-service,
collaborative environment for supplier companies, hosted by the purchasing
organization. This involved connecting business package BI, Analytics along with ERP,
PLM, SCM, cFolders so that the planning, spend analytics of a particular company can be
easily tracked and maintained centrally.
• Worked closely with the Development team and re-tested the fixed defects.
• Conducted knowledge sessions and provided assistance to the new joiners in the team
about the process standards in development, testing and deployment.

• The Messages were analyzed as to why and how were they missed and categorized
accordingly.
• Based on the analysis, Test Cases were updated in the central repository (GTP).

Role Manual Functional Tester

Responsibilities:
• Net Weaver Output Qualification testing was done to observe the impacts of the Net
Weaver transports on the Test system.
• I was supposed to execute a certain set of test cases and find as many Net
Weaver related issues in the Net weaver system before pre import.
• Testing was done on a weekly basis and many New Defects were logged.
• Every week transports were to be released based on the analysis of number of issues
Logged by us and also based on the system stability.

Project Name Manual Testing SRM701 Ehp1
Role Manual Functional Tester/ Test Case Authoring

Responsibilities:
• Was involved in SRS/SDD Review meetings and worked closely with QM and
Developers to understand the Requirements well. I was also involved in quick checks,
weekly mockups and based on the inputs got from these sessions, a test case blue print
was prepared.
• Test Case Authoring
Concept Issues Test cases:
• I authored 31 Test cases as part of New developments in the area of Sourcing
applications.
All Pairs Test cases:
• 6 Test variants were created for the topic Authorizations in Contracts and we could find
some good defects using this new approach. We used an external tool called the PICT
which helped us generate different variants.
Accessibility Test cases:
• I authored 3 Test cases for the new topics developed in SRM701e in SOCO. I did
recording of the new topics so that the AT Lab colleagues could check the accessibility of
the product.
• Involved in External Test Case Template (eTCT) testing for Strategic Sourcing &
Supplier collaboration. These Test cases are used to test our product after it is
successfully implemented at customer's site. This is done by the domain experts working
in Customer Company.
• I was involved in Pre Usability Testing (PRE UIT) wherein I tested the usability of
the product & also how friendly and easy it was for the customers to use and understand
the product.
• Completed my assignments by delivering quality work and met all the deadlines.
• Browser testing: I worked on Firefox 3.0-3.5, IE 6.0-8.0, Safari 4.0 and NWBC for
Shopping Cart, RFx & SOCO.
