‘Princess Chloe’

Monologue
Age: 7+
Female

CHLOE: [HAPPY] My daddy thinks I’m his little princess.

I mean, of course I am. I am his little princess. But Daddy doesn’t know that I
actually am a real princess. Princess Chloe the first of Australia. It’s a hard job
being me, being a princess that is. People just expect so much from a real life
princess. Mr. Ted is always so very, very naughty. Elisa always wants to play, but
I never have the time because Cat is always chasing the birds and scratching the
furniture.

People at school tell me that I’m spoilt – but what do they expect – I’m a princess.
That’s why. I drink tea, I eat fairy bread, I sleep with a ba-gillion toys in my pink
pajamas. See, I… Am… A… PRINCESS!

When I grow up, I’m going to be a Queen. Queen Chloe! *she sings of into the
distance as she skips*
