    User authentication can be configured using a certificate server instance in IVE. The certificate server and Web Enrollment must be installed on the server side. On the user side, users access a URL to request and obtain certificates for authentication. Logs show that a user named Administrator successfully authenticated using a certificate from their device IP address. Certificate authentication can be used for authentication with LDAP for authorization and user attributes.

    User authentication using

    Certificate server instance in IVE


    This is in the certificate server and Web Enrollment needs to be
    installed.
    On the user side, we access http://<server>/certsrv
    Click on Request a Certificate
    Click on User Certificate
    We can also have cert auth for authentication
    and LDAP for authorisation(directory/ attribute)
