Enabling both side printing (duplex printing) ---

Some clarification- the printers which are attached to ur account through novell iprint client are
configured for duplex printing. i.e. u need to separately enable each printer for duplex printing.

Please login to novell before proceeding ahead.

Right Click on the iprint client icon in the tray (where your novell and ip messanger icons remain,
right side down below on the computer screen!!!!)

Go to tab “Launch printers folder”

Now all the printers which are connected to ur account through novell iprint client will be visible.

Suppose that there is H block printer icon is visible.

Right click on it and go to properties

A window will open and in that go to Device settings button..click on it once

There will be a list called “installable options”

In this the third option will be “Duplex Unit (for 2- sided Printing): Not Installed”

Change the Not Installed to Installed by clicking on Not Installed

Click on apply tab at the bottom

Then click OK

Follow the above steps for all the printers separately

TO TAKE DUPLEX PRINTES

Now suppose u want to take duplex printing.

Only installing the duplex printing as mentioned above will not do

Go to print option of any word document or any thing which u want to print.

Print window will open

Select ur printer

Then u will see a button named “Properties” on top right side of the print window

Click on it.

Now u will see another window opening on which many options will be given.

There is a row of tabs(buttons) on the top..go to “”finishing” and click on it.

An option will be displayed with check box “Print on both sides” check the box and press OK

Then click OK on the print window

DUPLEX PRINTING WILL be done.......go to printer......
