An after school facility for teenagers, who for

some reason, are unable to go home.

It is to be a place of comfort, a place that belongs to them,

a safe haven, full of light and positivity. As our Design Studo
brief is looking at mental wellbeing, I believe the programme
I have chosen is a valid and necessary one. The pressures
put on teenagers today as they go through the educa-
tion system in Ireland is enormous, and can often lead to a
stressful environment at school, and at home. The intention
is to provide a place for learning and to encourage creativity
and responsibility in the teenagers today.
