1 Anlyze Jollibee’s growth since its inception and comments on the


strategies followed by the company to establish itself firmly in the fast food
industry in the Philippines ?

Ans- As we know that Jollibee which established in 1978 .

And from the starting of Jollibee their have lots of stratrgies which made by the
company for the purpose of its growth from its inception…which are
followings……

On before of that firstly Tony pre-empted McDonald’s entry into the country.

Strategy 1-
In the aspect of one firstly Tony decided to differentiate his company by making
it a “Symbol of Fillipino Pride” in that there have the all mean of the strategy to
make the company identification and image on the customer’s mind differently and
effective.

Strategy 2-
In second , Jollibee decide and hired for a complete enumeration of the customer
taste and preference a new US Consultant ,who assist company on franchising and
retailing fronts ,which took decision regarding the products on its own. After in all
that the product were prepared keeping in mind the taste and flavors prevalent in
the country.

Since fillipino liked eating out in groups and orderd different dishes , the menu
was quite exhaustive as compared to the listed menu offered by US food outlets.

So in all of that this strategy become quite successful for the company and worked
well and from the beginning, Jollibee became a huge hit with the customers.

So all of which we can say that the company’s this strategy is a successful part of
making a company quite successful. And for making the huge customer demand
for it.
Strategy 3-
In this last strategy from its inception is about the price of the product (food) of
company.

As in the fillipino in forign fast food outlets, meanwhile, did not localize their
offerings to cater to fillipinno tastes.

And moreover, their price were 5-10 % higher than Jollibee’s . As a result ,by
1985, Jollibee became the undisputed leader in the fast food industry in the
Phillipines.

So these all are the first three essential strategy which taking by the company
for their numerous success in Phillipines from its inception.
