• Permissive rather than mining laws
created in the 90s, and in force today, I
opened the door to multinational
companies looking for:
GOLD
SILVER
COPPER
And URANIUM.
• Business millionaires of a few.
• The Argentine people is not absolutely
NOTHING.
• They are sad acts of environmental
destruction, social and economic damage.
Do you know what the opencast
mining mega?
• Mining mega results: exploitation of
mountains .
• In a single day using nine tons of
explosives.
• One ring is equivalent to eighteen tons of
toxic waste.
• The mega mining uses ten tons of cyanide
per day, to separate the gold from the
rock.
CYANIDE
·The process uses MTS 300 000 cubic
drinking water per day.
· Water contaminated with toxic and heavy
metals are deposited in pools called
“diques de cola."
·The “diques de cola" fracture and millions
of liters of water with toxic and hazardous
heavy metals end up pouring into rivers,
streams and aquifers.
