PRESENTING.

audience

 A mode of oral communication in which person shares


factual information with a particular audience
How To Make An Effective
Presentation?
1) Organizing Content:

 Make sure your presentation begins that introduces the content,


and an end that explains your conclusion.
 Use examples
 Know your audience
 Use good grammar
 Don’t try to convey all the information
 Thank people in a fresh, real, meaningful way.
2) PREPARATIONS:

 PRACTICE A lot!!!

 Prepare…prepare…prepare! Preparation is everything!!!

3)PERSONAL APPEARANCE AND PRESENCE:


 Stand up straight
 Stand comfortably
 Wear something you know you look good in.
4) Etiquette
Be brief…if asked to speak for 45 min speak for 40.

5)Speaking:
 Speak slowly
 Identify words you have difficulty in pronouncing
 Practice difficult words
 Let the silences be silent.
 Pauses at proper place….you need not fill every available second.
 Keep yourself open to audience
 Speak in a friendly & relaxed manner
5)Visual and projection:

 Keep it simple
 Color and normal font
 Number the slides
 Check your slides before presenting
 Add Visuals
 Keep your slide to two a minute.
 Learn to edit
 Use pointers

 Repeat audience questions
