Why is IHH considered as a Digital enterprise?

Indiana Heart Hospital (IHH) has all three objectives of a digital enterprise. Since a digital
enterprise is a business model which uses Information Technology to achieve at least one of its
three objectives. IHH do interact with their patients (customers) in a very effective manner.  As
for improvement in the employee productivity and efficient operating process, IHH could be an
exemplar to the rest of the hospitals. As a patient arrives the hospital it takes only 15 seconds go
retrieve the stored medical history of the patient for its database. This enables a speedy and
instant treatment process. The use of technology supports the doctors and nurses concentrate on
diagnosis and foster bedside care. This digitization of the hospital has given the nurses the
opportunity to stay longer with the patients. It has provided a faster diagnosis, accurate reports
dispensation of medicine and general administration. Technology is in almost every aspect of
treatment process, from the arrival of a patient until he is discharged.
