LENSES WITH

GARLIC SOUP
INGREDIENTS:
2 1 / 2 cups of
lentils, which are
left to soak
overnight in water
4 cups chicken
broth
2 medium potatoes, diced
3 onion, cut into 4
2 red tomatoes, peeled, cut into 4
1 carrot, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons butter
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ground cumin
4 lemons
black pepper
Preparation:
-Broth boil in a large pot. Add the lentils, onion, tomato,
carrot, potato and garlic.
-Simmer for 45 minutes
-Add the melted butter and remaining seasonings
-Serve hot.
-Garnish with lemon casquitos
