The rising action introduces a love interest, which
causes the reader to question the newer character. Who
is she? What will happen? In which the film will explain
the answers.
2.05 The trailer shows the romance involved in the story,
which is what the audience expect from this type of film
genre. Conventions of a film trailer show the audience a
caption displaying the actors names to draw in the
audience and to inform them of who is in the film.
12 seconds. The next scene shows the inciting incident
part of the triangle as a fight breaks out in the streets.
This shows the beginning of the disequilibrium and the
complication in the story.
1.36 Just over half way of the trailer. The middle of the
story and the climax of the action. This shows the
audience the turning point before the rapidly edited
images crisis and climax of the trailer.
2.21 the end and resolution of the trailer. The blowing
out of the candle symbolizes the ending of the trailer and
maybe symbolizes a twist in the story. This up beat
music and the voice over also creates an exciting
atmosphere for the audience.
0.23 seconds into the trailer shows the rising action and
conflict between the main character and his father.
Conflict introduces another complication into the story,
which causes the viewer to have more questions.
1.55 shows the main characters kissing which interests
the audience and answers some questions. It also
shows the beginning of the falling action suggested in
Freytag’s triangle.
2.24 Follows conventions of a film trailer by reinforcing
the name of the film and typography at the end of the
trailer so that the viewer will remember it. It then shows
credits and publicity links. The music then fades to
sustain the astrosphere and finish with an impact.
