Creative Dynamics Engineering. A brief company profile is also included along with
flaws observed and their possible solutions.

1- Familiarization of PID control

2- Operation of heating mechanisms

3- Basic understanding of Heating recovery Steam Generator HRSC

4- Basic understanding of PLC of GAS, Compressors, Reverse Osmosis Plant (RO plant)

5- Basic understanding of Distributed Control System of balance of plant.

6- Basic understanding of fire control and alarm system

Week 1 to 6:

Development of Industrial Furnace Temperature Control

System:

Our team worked on the development of a temperature control system for industrial
furnaces by using our academic knowledge and background. Industrial processes are usually
and widely controlled by using PLC devices, while we worked on a microcontroller based
embedded system for this purpose, since our academic background is on embedded
systems.

The system which we worked on used a PIC 16F877A microcontroller as the central
processing and control unit. The system also uses a sensor for sensing the temperature of
the furnace to take the decisions upon.
