Step :-1
Modem power light OFF– DO check power adaptor plugged properly and not loose .Also
ensure modem power button(ON/OFF) on back side of modem is switched ON .

Modem DSL light OFF – DO Check for correct wiring and not loose , correct wire in the voice
(telephone) and ADSL lines (Modem) connected to the splitter.

Check For Transfer rate i.e.:-220 KB/Sec, (Always in Kilo Bytes/Sec)
Your Internet Speed is :-220 X 8=1760 kbps (Always in Kilo Bits/Sec As per any ISP)
1. Recommend to Have latest Antivirous software installed to avoid any slow speed issue.

2. Recommend that you should switch off the modem when not in use to minimize the risk
of unwanted data usage.

3. Recommend formatting you’r PC through your PC / Hardware vendor for severe virus
issues.

4. It is recommend to mail internet.service@tatatel.co.in for Mumbai and


dsl.desk@tatatel.co.in for Pune and rest of Maharashtra
a) Any rate plan related information/ Upgradation.
b)Additional IP/ Static IP related enquiry.
c) For any New Wi- Fi Modem requirements for Existing customers.
d)Wi-fi Network key / Web key related information/ any new laptop to configure on TTML
provided Wi-Fi Modem
e) Any billing related disputes.

5.Befor any Speed related query pls check for Compression ration for your rate plan.

6.Any Lan related queries pls contact your Local IT/ hardware Person. ( Example if any
single user in Lan is having connectivity/ Speed issue)
