Hi there, my name is Dinh Duong Ngoc Tran and I am
glad to continue my role as your school captain this academic year. Here are a few things I think would be interesting for you to know about me: Currently I am taking three A Level subjects: Mathematics, Art & Design and Business Studies. I am terrible at Mathematics, though I do try my best to cope. After I graduate year 12, I am determined to enroll at Emerson College in Boston to study journalism. My favorite book is “South of the border, West of the sun” by Murakami Haruki. I am open to any type of music, though my favorite genre would be acoustic folk. The one singer I absolutely loathe is Miley Cyrus, despite some of my friends’ protests. I love to swim and, predictably, the beach. Please be welcome to come and talk to me if you have any question regarding the student community or just a casual chat. Cheers. Tran Le Duy: Hi all, my name is Tran Le Duy, your current school captain. Here is some information about myself that would help you to know me better: I am currently taking three A level subjects, which are Mathematics, Business Studies and Thinking Skills. For my post-high school education, I would like to pursue music as it has always been my dream to be a music producer. I intend to study abroad in Boston, U.S.A to enroll in Berkley College of Music after I graduate year 12. My music preference differs from time to time, but my all-time favorite artist is Michael Buble, and currently the albums on repeat in my iPod are Maroon 5’s Hands All Over and Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream. Despite my fellow captain Ngoc Tran’s dislike for Miley Cyrus, I find many of her songs enjoyable. My hobby is very simple: just hanging out with good friends would make my day. In addition, I am fond of watching T.V series, and my favorites are Prison Break and Friends. Also, I enjoy socialising with different people within our community, so just feel free to come to me for a talk or just to say Hi. I am looking forward to cooperating with everyone in creating an eventful academic year 2011, and striving for the betterment of our community.
