 About Me
Hi, I am Verlyn Bracero Elfa. Born on the 20th
day of September 1999, I am the eldest
daughter of my parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vicente
and Evelyn Elfa. Currently, I am in my 3rd
year in college, with a Bachelor of Science in
Accountancy as my course at La Concepcion
College.

From a young age, I have always known that

I am a person with a great purpose. I was
raised by my parents to become loving and
compassionate to others and to always treat
people with kindness. Being as family-
oriented as I am, I have always treated the
people around me with kindness and
consider them as my own family. I am also
an advocate for mental health issues, trying
my best to spread awareness for my fellows.
 About My
Course
I was in my first grade in primary school when my mother
told me what courses I should consider taking when I
reach my college days. As early as that, I was exposed to
the four major subjects that can serve as my foundation:
Mathematics, English, Science, and Social Studies. I was
taught to always be diligent when it comes to studying so I
had spent most of my childhood reading books.

Because Mathematics and English were two of my most

favorite subjects, I heeded my mother’s suggestion to take
up Accountancy. At first, I was reluctant to do so because I
wanted to pursue Culinary Arts. But with a little bit of
persuasion and compromise from my parents, I chose to
study Accountancy and I started to love it.
 My Hobbies:
Reading Novels
and Manga
When I was still a young girl, we never had kids my age
in our neighborhood. My only playmates were my male
cousins so it was inconvenient for me to always play
with them. I only had female friends at school, so I
developed a habit of reading to pass my time. My aunt
will always give me books about life. As I aged with
time, my love for reading never ceased. I can spend my
whole day reading without getting bored with it.
Earlier this year, I discovered Manga. Because I was
able to see the images that I used to imagine when I
am reading, I fell in love with manga reading. I love to
enjoy a good online novel, with my friend, paired with a
perfect cup of coffee.
My Hobbies:
Music
In my family, everyone has a knack for music. Be it
playing musical instruments, singing, or dancing,
each of us will be knowledgeable about those. As
for me, I truly loved music. My passion for music
has always been innate. It was natural for me. I
sang my first song when I was three, I started to
dance at five, and I learned to play the Lyre at the
age of eight. Until now, I am very fond of singing. I
sometimes even represent my class for school
competitions and sing at events like wedding
pictorials and receptions, giving me income. It was
a great experience for me, especially in
conquering my stage fright. I am also able to
impart my talent in serving the Lord through
singing at the Church.
My Life
Goals

After 10 years, I envision myself accomplishing my dreams.

It may take a rough patch to get there, but eyeing the
target will be my first step in achieving these dreams of
mine:
